Clark County Fire District 10

-Our department consists almost entirely of volunteers, with 30 active volunteers and 14 full time staff members.

-The agency covers an area of 84 square miles with over 15,000 residents.

-Fire District 10 responded to 1011 emergencies last year and have seen the percentage of calls increase significantly over the last several years.

-We are currently building living quarters at our station in the View area and are working towards 24/7 staffing of 2 firefighters at that location. This will be in addition to the 2 firefighters staffing our main station in Amboy 24/7.
Volunteers are always welcome:

Our agency could not survive without it's dedicated and professional volunteers. The volunteers consist of your neighbors, friends and family. People who are highly motivated, caring and desire to give back to the community. We currently have over 30 active volunteers. Volunteers attend training drills that are held on Wednesday nights and some Saturdays. They are provided equipment and training to operate apparatus, conduct fire suppression, respond to medical emergencies and much more. Our agency provides opportunities for members to obtain EMT, IV technician and fire certifications.
