Wildfire Information

  • Residents in Clark County Fire District 10 live in a wildland urban interface area. There is a lot of great information at the links below on how to prepare your home for fires.
Quick tips for wildfire preparation:
  • Clear the area around your house at least 30 feet
  • Remove dead tree branches and limbs
  • Clean out gutters and remove pine needles and leaves from roof
  • Store firewood away from the house
  • Clear off any flammable furniture from decks
  • Clear back brush along driveways enough that fire engines can respond to you house.
